February 1, 2021 Leave a Comment

Lay Servants Lead in Conflict Resolution will be offered virtually on March 13th from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm by ZOOM. The Rev Molly Shivers, Director of Conflict Transformation Ministries for the NCCUMC will lead the class.

Every church deals with conflict, both healthy and unhealthy, and lay servants can be equipped and empowered to help lead through those times of conflict as a time of transformation. Cost is $15.00. Registration ends March 7th.

Attendees will:

  • Encounter conflict as a positive force and spiritual pursuit that is grounded in biblical principles, love of God, neighbor, and self
  • Experience preparation steps for the work of engaging conflict
  • Consider how to engage others in conflict transformation, outlining specific processes
