Walk for Environmental Justice

In recognition of Earth Day 2024, the University United Methodist Church Environmental Stewardship Team invite our fellow United Methodists to join with other faith communities at the front of the University United Methodist Church on Franklin Street where we will enjoy inspirational music, hear speakers, and receive information about how we can be better caretakers of God’s creation. Then we’ll proceed to walk on the sidewalk in a loop from the Planetarium to West Franklin Street and back. Participants are encouraged to carry signs that convey their issues to the public.
