Creation Care: We Are Connected

Posted on

We’re all connected. We experience connection through the activity of the Holy Spirit, we observe it in the workings of the natural world, and we live it as United Methodists through our polity, or the way we organize ourselves for mission and ministry. The Corridor District Creation Care Team works in connection with the NC Conference Creation Care Team, which in turn is connected with national and global creation care ministries. The United Methodist Creation Justice Movement is one of those broader connections that serves to support creation care efforts at every level of the United Methodist Church. Visit the website at https://umcreationjustice.org/ to access the blog, a resource library, and a monthly tip sheet.

One of the tips for the month of May is about composting food scraps. Anyone can participate in this super-beneficial practice with minimal effort, whether by managing your own food waste at home or by having someone pick it up. See the Resources below for some local options. Click here to read the whole tip sheet https://umcreationjustice.org/may-creation-justice-tips/.
