- Check out the October Tips from the UM Creation Justice Movement.
- The next team meeting is October 19 at 7 pm by Zoom. Join us any time to be part of this exciting and vital ministry. This month, we’ll be hearing about the “eco-mission” initiatives of the UMC’s disaster response and global missions offices, as well as reviewing the Season of Creation and planning for the upcoming year. We need voices of all ages and gifts of all kinds to live into the vision of resourcing every Corridor church theologically and practically to be engaged in the care of God’s good creation. Contact Rev. Jane Almon for information and the Zoom link.
- Thanks to Revs. Adam Benson and Eric Prenshaw and Mr. Thomas Givens of Mt. Sylvan UMC for coordinating the amazing Season of Creation worship service on September 17. You can view the recording at Mt. Sylvan’s YouTube channel.
- Climate Justice Bible studies are underway, and you can still jump in and join in building awareness and relationships that lead to action. See the list below for locations, times, and formats that fit your needs. Click here to find each church’s contact information. Order the book here from United Women in Faith or get the Kindle version from Amazon. (See picture above)
