“Resources! We need resources!” This is the plea that keeps arising from local churches that want to engage robustly in creation care ministries of all types, from adding creation-themed liturgy to weekly worship to working through the Green Church Initiative (https://nccumc.org/leadership/creation/green-church-initiative/). The recently-formed Corridor District Creation Care Team hears this plea and wants to help. For starters, we will be posting notices here in the District newsletter of upcoming events, links to resources, and stories from churches that are doing things to connect with God and neighbor through creation care ministries. Stay tuned for future announcements about District-wide activities to bring folks together around the biblical mandate of stewarding God’s good creation.
